Leaving some canopy dark preserves contrast so lit trees feel intentional. On estates with many mature trees, we often phase lighting — start with the strongest focal trees, then expand once you see the nightscape in person.

North Texas soil, irrigation, and root zones influence stake placement and cable paths. We install with care around root systems and irrigation heads, and we aim fixtures so growth over the next seasons still looks balanced rather than overgrown into the beam.

Will uplighting harm my trees? Properly aimed low-voltage fixtures do not harm healthy trees. We place stakes and cable with root zones and irrigation in mind.
